Healing Footsteps has scheduled their 2nd Annual Hub City Pickleball Derby for APRIL 26,27,28 2024. The format will be pool play with a single elimination playoff for all teams. All medal matches will be 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2. Medal for 1st, 2nd , 3rd places

Private, semi-private and group lessons with Fernando or Denny. Never played before or just beginning and needing to learn the basics of the game, this is for you. Learn the rules, strokes, footwork, and strategy of pickleball through instruction, drills, and play, all with video feedback as well as tips on how to prevent injuries and enhance your overall fitness level, and hand eye coordination. These lessons will get you ready to go out and play!

INTRODUCTION TO PICKELBALL LESSON
Come find out what all the hype is about. Learn basic rules, see what equipment is needed, and hit the ball around the court with a teaching coach. This 1 hour intro into pickleball is only $50. No obligations, nothing to sign up for, just come out and see if this game is for you.(Trust me you most likely will catch the pickleball bug!) We have all the equipment you will need. You'll have fun and you'll learn a lot about this great game!

Private, semi private, and group lessons include instruction to elevate your game. If your consider yourself a 2.5-3.5 player this program is for you. Set up to improve your game, give you a complete understanding of all basic pickleball shots, the ability make the shot, and the strategy of when to use them. We also run drills for nero-muscular mechanics, hand eye coordination, and playing strategy, as well as tips on how to prevent injuries and enhance your overall fitness level! Using skill drills, game situation drills, game play with feed back, and video feedback we teach you to play to your strengths, and trust your instincts in a fun learning environment.
At Performance Pickleball we believe there is not one way, but an infinite number of ways to play pickleball. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to play, based on your physical abilities and strengths.

We focus on playing strategies, advanced shot selection, ball placement, along with using advanced tools in high level drills during your sessions to continue to raise the level of your game.
These sessions will focus on your goals for strengthening your game as well as evaluations and suggestions from your coach.
These sessions are fast paced, can be focused on individual, or with partner for doubles play.

DESTINATION CAMPS
The Performance Pickleball Academy’s destination camps will include fun, intense, creative instruction to elevate your game, in addition to tips on how to prevent injuries and enhance your overall fitness level. The 3 day Destination Camp will include 10-12 hours of instruction, a Performance Pickleball Academy T-Shirt, water, Gatorade, snacks and plenty of open play.

CLINICS
Our 10 week training program will be jam packed into 10 hours of intense instruction. One topic per week, attend as many sessions as you want per week. Topics including dinking and dinking strategy, 3rd shot drop and 3rd shot drive, transition from the baseline to the kitchen, volleys, how to beat a driver, and how to be a better driver , court positioning and movement, lobs, lob retrieval and overheads. This is a great way to improve your skills (3.0-4.0 skill level) through quality drills, situation games, and regular play all with video feedback!

Performance Pickleball and Amps Sports Performance is the premiere Sports Vision, Speed, and Rotational Fitness Academy on the Emerald Coast. Using tried and true programs, along with the newest technology, we want to take your athletic abilities to the next level. Everything starts with Sports Vision, If we can see, and process better, that will allow us to make decisions faster. Once we can make decisions faster then we can move faster. Once we can move faster, then we need to do it more powerfully and efficient. Our abilities are all tied together, and should be trained together. One with out the other will not allow us to take full advantage of our abilities.
We believe that your training buckets do not need to overflow. In other words, how much strength, mobility, or speed do you need to perform at your sport? If you have plenty of strength, then maybe to insure top performance, more time should be spent developing power, or speed. Each athlete is different, each sport is different, and should be trained different.
We also believe that periodization training is so important to obtaining top performance. Training should be different for athletes at different times. If you are in season or out, big tournaments at certain times, you need to be physically ready...your training should reflect those times!

These lessons are taught by Certified Professional Pickleball Registry coaches. Lessons include game evaluation. skill drills, simulated game situations, and coached game play. Each session is 1 hour long with the ability to play games after with the others in your group! You will get plenty drill, practice & play during these energetic lessons as they are 100% on court! About Us
At Performance Pickleball Emerald Coast we believe there is not one way, but an infinite number of ways to play pickleball. However, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to play, based on physical abilities and strengths.
We are passionate about the game of pickleball. Everyone at Performance Pickleball wants to see the game grow and prosper. As the fastest growing sport in America, there are a lot of new players coming to the game, wanting to learn and play. We understand that there are many coaches, clinics, and camps to choose from in the USA, and even around the world. Many of the practice drills, game situations, and instruction we use are not that different from many others. Any coach that is excited about Pickleball has searched out every conceivable drill and game there is to make clinics & lessons fun and easy. Where we believe Performance Pickleball is different is in the "How it is done". We do not teach a way to play pickleball, we teach YOUR way to play pickleball, Meaning, we teach you how to play and then develop your game around your physical abilities and strengths. Everyone needs to know the basics- rules, dinks, drives, volleys, lobs, serves, and the basic strategy of the game. Once we start moving on from learning the basics, we have to add in your abilities and limitations. If you have the ability to hit the ball hard, you need to play a different type of game than the player that cannot drive the ball. If you are fast or slow, limited mobility or a gumby (lots of mobility), fast reactor or not so fast, all should factor in how YOU play and strategize the game. Many Camps, Clinics and lessons teach one way...we are very dedicated to teaching pickleball YOUR way...the best way for you! This is how sports should be taught. If you watch the best players in any sport they all play different. They play to their strengths, and what feels right. Let us help you find YOUR GAME, YOUR WAY!
Another way we are differentiate ourselves is we focus on nuero muscular training, (teaching the mind to tell your muscles what you want them to do) as well as working on multi-directional speed, and hand eye coordination. We believe this training has the ability to improve your game along with the new skills and strategies you will learn. This is training you can take home and continue to improve over time!
